Immediate opening: MIG/MAG welder (Missouri)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Daviess County, Missouri. You will be based at an automobile body shop. Day-to-day duties: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead What we are looking for: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
