Cement mason wanted in Newcastle upon Tyne

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cement mason in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. You will work on a road and bridge project. Requirements: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE Your main tasks: • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing £3,150 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
