Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Howell County, Missouri. Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate On a typical shift you will test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork.
