Elevator repair technician wanted in Cape May County

Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Cape May County, New Jersey. You will work at a busy lift company. What we are looking for: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring On a typical shift you will rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; measure rope tension and check for broken strands. $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
