Now hiring: sheet metal welder (England)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in North Yorkshire, England. On a typical shift you will run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush. You should have: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Full-time with occasional weekends.
