Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Santa Barbara County, California. The job is on a commercial fit-out project. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts On a typical shift you will fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges; check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away; level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles.
