Power press operator wanted in Bay County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a power press operator in Bay County, Michigan. The job is in a sheet metal stamping unit. Requirements: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg On a typical shift you will load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting. 3+ years on the tools preferred. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
