Now hiring: reinforcement fitter (Niger State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Bosso, Niger State. You will work at a high-rise construction project. Day-to-day duties: • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
