Elevator repair technician • Moore County, Tennessee

We are recruiting: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Moore County, Tennessee. You will work in a residential tower block. What we are looking for: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways On the job you will handle: • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
