Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rigger in Warren County, Iowa. Day to day you will select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads. Ideal candidate: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
