Cnc turning machinist wanted in Kossuth County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Kossuth County, Iowa. You will work at an auto-components manufacturing unit. On a typical shift you will change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); write and edit G-code programs at the control; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Six days a week, one day off.
