Stainless steel welder — Storey County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Storey County, Nevada. Your main tasks: • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
