What we are looking for: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges You will drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; take site measurements of openings before fabrication; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents.
