Now hiring: we are hiring a chiller technician in Gaines County, Texas. You will be based at a supermarket cold-chain site. You should have: • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns The role involves service split AC units and VRF systems; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch.
