Cnc lathe setter • Switzerland County, Indiana

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Switzerland County, Indiana. You will be based in a tool room. Your main tasks: • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Load and index turning tools in the turret Ideal candidate: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
