Gas pipeline fitter wanted in Allamakee County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Allamakee County, Iowa. The job is in a gas distribution network. Your main tasks: • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate You should have: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $180 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
