Now hiring: we are hiring a safety marshal in Mills County, Iowa. The job is on a high-rise building project. Requirements: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Day-to-day duties: • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
