Steel erection rigger • Winnebago County, Illinois

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Winnebago County, Illinois. You will secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; read lift plans and method statements before starting. You should have: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Rotating shifts. Pay around $4,600 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
