Vacancy available: stainless steel welder (Pennsylvania)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Your main tasks: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
