Machinist wanted in Conwy

Join our team: we are hiring a machinist in Conwy, Wales. You will be based on an export house sewing floor. The role involves inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation. Requirements: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens 1+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
