Cnc production machinist — Humboldt County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Humboldt County, California. The job is at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Your main tasks: • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand Ideal candidate: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Rotating shifts.
