Now hiring: we are hiring a commercial refrigeration engineer in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. The job is at a supermarket cold-chain site. Your main tasks: • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays Ideal candidate: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders Part-time with flexible hours.
