Refrigeration and AC mechanic — Iosco County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Iosco County, Michigan. You will work in an HVAC service company. What we are looking for: • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold Day-to-day duties: • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Clean condenser and evaporator coils • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits.
