Immediate opening: crane rigger (Katsina State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane rigger in Malumfashi, Katsina State. What we are looking for: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Day-to-day duties: • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position Six days a week, one day off.
