Metal caster • Cattaraugus County, New York

We are recruiting: we are hiring a metal caster in Cattaraugus County, New York. Day to day you will maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects. What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Rotating shifts.
