Concrete finisher — Butler County

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Butler County, Ohio. The job is at a ready-mix concrete plant. On a typical shift you will carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
