Urgent requirement: confectioner (West Virginia)

Now hiring: we are hiring a confectioner in Marshall County, West Virginia. You will be based in a hotel pastry kitchen. On a typical shift you will check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing. You should have: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • 2+ years' experience as a baker Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
