Join our team: we are hiring a machinist in Monroe County, Alabama. You should have: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching The role involves thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
