Milling machinist wanted in Carter County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a milling machinist in Carter County, Missouri. What we are looking for: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery On the job you will handle: • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square We offer $210 per day plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
