Vacancy available: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Corson County, South Dakota. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Ideal candidate: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day The role involves strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints.
