Fabricator-welder — Macon County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Macon County, Illinois. Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Day-to-day duties: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
