Sand plant operator — Lonoke County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Lonoke County, Arkansas. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. Day-to-day duties: • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
