Milling machinist wanted in Polk County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a milling machinist in Polk County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a fabrication and machining plant. Your main tasks: • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts Ideal candidate: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Pay around $4,200 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
