Great opportunity: we are hiring a cold store insulation technician in Androscoggin County, Maine. You should have: • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding On a typical shift you will carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness.
