Immediate opening: we are hiring a paint sprayer in Rockland County, New York. The job is in a paint and spray workshop. On a typical shift you will strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns; clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job; cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames; spray emulsion and enamel using HVLP and airless spray guns; sand and fill walls before applying primer; fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec • Own brushes and basic hand tools Six days a week, one day off.
