Crane operator wanted in Polk County

Join our team: we are hiring a crane operator in Polk County, Iowa. The job is at a landfill site. The role involves: • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles Requirements: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance 6+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
