Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Butler County, Alabama. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Day-to-day duties: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Overtime paid at a premium rate.
