Great opportunity: we are hiring a tyre bay technician in Saluda County, South Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working outdoors and in all weathers • Awareness of workshop health and safety • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer On a typical shift you will repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches; inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills; keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres; demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine; check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear; balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights.
