Urgent requirement: PVC window assembler (Scotland)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a PVC window assembler in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. You will be based at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. Day to day you will rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter. You should have: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) 5+ years on the tools preferred. £3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
