Metal caster wanted in Panola County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a metal caster in Panola County, Texas. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. You will prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards 4+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
