Confectioner wanted in Borough of Halton

We are recruiting: we are hiring a confectioner in Borough of Halton, England. The job is in a hotel pastry kitchen. Your main tasks: • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough Requirements: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to work early-morning and night shifts We offer £14 per hour plus benefits.
