Urgent requirement: cold room technician (New York)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cold room technician in Erie County, New York. You will be based at a busy refrigeration workshop. On the job you will handle: • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight What we are looking for: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $210 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
