Now hiring: we are hiring a tile mason in Sierra County, New Mexico. The job is in a tile and sanitaryware showroom. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes The role involves: • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
