Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Umuahia South, Abia State. The role involves: • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins What we are looking for: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
