Safety officer wanted in Shoshone County

Now hiring: we are hiring a safety officer in Shoshone County, Idaho. The job is in a chemical processing unit. Requirements: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Your main tasks: • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
