Hoist operator • Bullitt County, Kentucky

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hoist operator in Bullitt County, Kentucky. You will be based at a shipbuilding yard. What we are looking for: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes You will climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground.
