Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Nsit Atai, Akwa Ibom State. Requirements: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances The role involves: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper Rotating shifts.
