Safety inspector wanted in Sandusky County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety inspector in Sandusky County, Ohio. You will work at a busy construction site. Ideal candidate: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Your main tasks: • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
