Join our team: we are hiring a formwork joiner in City of Covington, Virginia. You will work at a precast concrete yard. You should have: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing On the job you will handle: • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
