Great opportunity: we are hiring a delivery truck driver in City of Staunton, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Current Driver CPC qualification card Day-to-day duties: • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience.
